Time to profile a non-indian startup

Posted on January 9, 2008. Filed under: Non-indian, Review | Tags: , , |

I am sure my readers would excuse me this time for posting about a non-indian startup. It is Webnode. I had received an email from the Project Manager of webnode asking me to blog about their product. I was about to reply to them saying that I blog only about “Indian Startups”. Out of curiosity, when I checked out their site, I got totally impressed. If you have a small business and want to quickly create a professional website that too for free, then do check out webnode.

These are some of the features that make them really stand out from the crowd. (Google Page creator, weebly)

  • Drag and drop
  • Active contents (Articles, Polls, Dynamic lists)
  • Social features – Tagging
  • Widgets – Youtube video, Google Maps, flickr
  • Payment – Drag n drop paypal widget and start accepting money!
  • Plus lots more …

You can find our own page here.

Given that not many blogs have profiled about them, I thought webnode deserves some coverage. Is Techcrunch watching this?
